Baccalieu Trail Youth of the Year
The Baccalieu Trail Youth Council (BTYC) in partnership
with Mariner Resource Opportunities Network Inc. (M-RON
Inc.) and the Trinity Conception Youth Protocol Committee
presents the 1st Annual Baccalieu Trail Youth of
the Year. The Baccalieu Trail Youth of the Year
will be given to both a male and a female youth, ages 15 -
29 years, who exemplify outstanding community
involvement/volunteerism. The Baccalieu Trail Youth of the
Year serves to recognize youth who have made an
exceptional contribution to both their community and the
Baccalieu Trail. Candidates must be nominated by a group,
organization, or individual of the Baccalieu Trail. The
deadline for nominations is May 15, 2003.
Criterion:
Nominee must be between the ages of 15 -
29 years.
Nominee must be nominated by a group,
organization, or individual of the Baccalieu Trail.
Nominee must have primary residency
within the Baccalieu Trail.
A letter of reference by a group,
organization, or individual of the Baccalieu Trail is
beneficial.
Deadline for nominations is May 15, 2021
at 4:00 p.m.
Nominations will be reviewed by a
committee with representation from the Baccalieu Trail
Youth Council, Mariner Resource Opportunities Network
Inc., and the Trinity Conception Youth Protocol
Committee.
Members or employees of the Baccalieu
Trail Youth Council, the Trinity Conception Youth
Protocol Committee, or Mariner Resource Opportunities
Network Inc. cannot be nominated.
Successful individuals will be presented
with a plaque and a certificate at the Annual Awards
event of Mariner Resource Opportunities Network Inc.
scheduled for early June.
Successful individuals will receive
recognition within their communities as well as the
opportunity to receive media exposure through local
newspapers, radio, and television.
Successful individuals would appear in
the Mariner Resource Opportunities Network Inc.
quarterly newsletter, "The Baccalieu Times" as well as
the Baccalieu Trail Youth Council web site.
Successful individuals will be invited
to future events of the Baccalieu Trail Youth Council,
Mariner Resource Opportunities Network Inc., and the
Trinity Conception Youth Protocol Committee.
