The BTYC, in partnership with M-RON Inc., Trinity Conception Youth Protocol Committee, and FINALY!, organized and delivered a Baccalieu Trail Youth Art Showcase that was held on March 22, 2003 at the Princess Sheila NaGeira Theater in Carbonear. Approximately 40 youth, ages 15 - 29, living on the Baccalieu Trail participated and were involved in various activities such as presentations by the Business Service Center and Rebel Island Theater as well as local artists Ms. Jenny Gear, Mr. Sid Butt, and Ms. Terri-Lynn Eddy. Youth also had the opportunity to showcase either visual art (photography, painting, etc.) or audible art (singing, drama, etc.) and take part in a Networking Social which allowed youth to mingle with stakeholders, representatives from community organizations, and local artists.
