Bay de Verde is located on Route 70 at the top of Conception Bay,
and forms the most eastern point of the Bay de Verde Peninsula,
separating Trinity Bay and Conception Bay.

Fishery - The main source of livelihood for the community, especially
the crab & shrimp fishery. The fishing industry also involves
the catch of lumpfish and lobster.

Municipal Services:
• Bay de Verde was incorporated on August 22, 1950. They were rendered
inactive on July 1951 and reactivated again on January 25, 1975.
• Bay de Verde Town Council consists of six councillors and a mayor. A
copy of the town plan is available at the Bay de Verde Town Council
Hall.
