Camp McCarthy, operated by the McCarthy Council 5902 Knights of Columbus, is a wheel chair accessible 6000 square foot building situated on approximately 160 acres of beautifully forested land. The facility is among Newfoundland's most suited to a youth summer camp. Camp McCarthy boasts accommodations for 40 people with a large common area/dining hall, basketball court, campfire area, walking trails, full kitchen/bathroom facilities, along with many other amenities. Just 4 kilometers from the hub of Carbonear, Camp McCarthy is conveniently close to sporting and recreational facilities.
