The Baccalieu Trail Tourism Assoc. is a volunteer non-profit organization
which provides information to tourists and potential tourists,
as well as developing marketing tools for the area. The Association
has been working with a number of groups to foster tourism delopment
in the region, including other provincial tourism associations,
the Avalon Convention and Visitors Brueau, the Fédération
des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador, and local and
provincial heritage associations.
In 2001
the Tourism Assoc. begain printing a map and schedule of events
with information about the region, and in 2002 it gathered the resources
and printed an updated map with a schedule of evnets, and the Excursion
Around the Bay Visitor's Guide with the assistance of partnering
organizaitons.

M-RON Inc. is responsible for the identification, evaluation,
and planned development of all potential resources within Economic
Development Zone 17.
M-RON Inc has developed a portal site for businesses and organizations
in the region: www.aroundthebay.ca
,which is one of the largest websites on the
Internet for information on the Baccalieu Trail in the province of
Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Baccalieu Trail Board of Trade is the voice for the more than
1200 businesses in the region. The Board provides an opportunity
for business owners to network, problem solve, and lobby.
The Baccalieu
Trail Business Guide Web Site contains detailed information
about business sectors on the Trail, as well as specific information
about member businesses.

The Baccalieu Trail Heritage Corporation, founded in 1993, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to identify, preserve, and promote, in co-operation with the Region's residents, the unique heritage resources of the Bay de Verde Peninsula, to instil pride in our Region and ensure quality of life is enjoyed by present and future generations.

contains detailed information about archalogical digs on the Trail,
as well as being a definitive souce on the built heritage of the
